The TRINEX is a fascinating and light construction with just three bamboo poles. For private or commercial use, multifunctional usable as a light sculpture and as an advertising medium. The three sides may be printed as desired and illuminated from the inside.
Due to the twisted and indented form the four meter high structure is very flashy. In addition, there are just one CARPRO-membrane and three bamboo culms with CONBAM Joining Technique, allowing a fast mounting process. The so-called tensegrity structure combined with double curved membrane surfaces allows for a low complexity with concomitant economy and efficiency.

The competition Culm and Cover was organized for students of the faculty of architecture at the RWTH Aachen University. The target was the design of structures applying bamboo culms with the CONBAM Joining Technique and a light textile cover of CARPRO.
